Third rule of leaving the life of crime: don’t draw attention to yourself.
A perfectly good Monday turns less so when Ada is put on a surprise vacation from her job at the Interpol. She has two choices: she could go after Eliot who has disappeared on her with unfinished business between them. Or she could go steal a historical diamond that has surfaced after decades. It’s every cat burglar’s dream, so the choice is easy.
But when she arrives on the beautiful Greek holiday island where the diamond is being sold, the first person she runs into is Eliot—in a very odd disguise. Should she pretend she doesn’t know him? Or should she join his con?
Eliot has been pulling a long con to get invited into a society wedding taking place on the island. His objective: getting in the inner circle of the crime lord whose organization he wants to dismantle. He hasn’t had any luck so far, so when Ada shows up, he decides to help her with her heist instead.
But then the diamond courier is killed and the gem disappears, and the police suspects Ada and Eliot. What can they do but to try to solve the murder and find the diamond themselves? If only things were that simple.
Join Ada and Eliot on their perfect heist on an Aegean island with warm sun, sandy beaches—and far too many crime lords for comfort.
